London singer James Vickery has worked with the likes of Musiq Soulchild, SG Lewis, and Sinéad Harnett, to name a few. Outside of his notable collaborations, the crooner has built a fanbase of his own far beyond London’s city limits.
Now, thanks to his latest business decision, his musical reach will stretch that much further. Yesterday (December 6), Vickery revealed that his signed a record deal with Red Bull Records.
Although this is new information to the general public, at the end of his headlining concert at Baby’s All Right in May, Vickery first hinted that he was at the finish line of securing a contract but did not disclose the label.
Vickery took to his official Instagram page to delivery the news with a series of images at the label’s office. “I just signed my first-ever record deal. Extremely pleased to be joining an incredible team over at Red Bull Records. I cannot express enough that this wouldn’t have happened without you guys listening to the music, buying tickets to shows, and showing love in the DMs. I see it all,” wrote the musician.
He continued, “My manager Alex Lewis and I have been putting out music pretty much by ourselves for the past six years and had the luxury of playing some phenomenal shows across the globe. I’m so proud of everything that has been achieved. The time has finally come to take this journey to the next level, ending this year in the BEST POSSIBLE WAY.”
After a flourishing 2023, next year is sure to be even more impactful.
