Italian singer and producer duo Giolì & Assia continue their hit-making streak with hot new single, “HABIBI”. In light of the worldwide tour being canceled due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the rising electronic stars funneled their effort into the irresistible new song.
The pair took to their official Instagram to share the inspiration behind the track writing, “we wanted to write a song with Mediterranean sounds and melodies. A track that could unite all under the same lyrics. We are Sicilian, but Sicily was a Greek colony, and a Spanish colony, and an Arabic colony, and a French colony, so we have much more history running in our blood to be proud of love.”
Adding, “[the song] talks about a love that unites us all, so let’s just be warmed about the love and the lyrics and forget for some minutes all the bad things that are happening nowadays.“
