First, Gallant was pulling his weight in gold. Now, the “Chemical Romance” singer is exploring another element on the periodic table. Later this month, Gallant’s third studio album, ZINC, will hit streaming platforms.
Ahead of its release, Gallant shared three tastes of what’s to come through its singles: “Crimes of Compassion,” “Fly On The Wall,” and “Coldstar.” Over on Instagram, Gallant opened up about the creative direction of each track, writing: “I’ve never felt more seen and understood than with this new 3-pack of songs from my next album, Zinc. A combination of so many different sounds that spoke to me on a molecular level… paired with words (and secrets) I was keeping to myself that I was relieved to finally get off my chest… each song representing slightly different moods, but painting such a perfect picture of the way the album feels as a whole.”
In another post, he penned a brief note about the forthcoming album. “So much pain and passion went into the making of this record,” he wrote. “I’m so proud of this body of work, and I can’t wait for you to hear it.”
