On June 26, 2015, Gallant released his breakthrough single, “Weight In Gold.” Over a decade later and nearly 70 million streams, the record continues to dazzle global audiences. The Stint-produced tune was just one of the songs from Gallant’s critically acclaimed, Grammy Award-nominated debut studio album, Ology (via Mind of a Genius/Warner).
Although the singer, songwriter, and composer is sonically (now genre fluid) and professionally (now on Mom+Pop Records) far removed from the project, Gallant will take a step back into the past to celebrate Ology. This summer, Gallant will hit the road for the 10th anniversary Ology World Tour.
Across 10 dates, Gallant is set to make stops in the United States, Canada, and China. But within the caption of Gallant’s Instagram announcement, Gallant teased that additional tour dates were to come.
The Ology World Tour will kick off on August 12 in San Diego, California at SOMA. In September, Gallant will set off for China. At this time, the venues for Gallant’s China concert stops have not yet been unveiled. Gallant has not announced any supporting acts.
What Gallant has shared is concertgoers will have the chance to purchase special merch and vinyl pressings that won’t be available anywhere else.
