It’s been nearly two years since the release of Flying Lotus‘ last studio album, Spirit Box. In March 2025, the producer, musician, and instrumentalist lent his talents to composing ASH (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack).
Later this week, Flying Lotus will treat supporters to another body of work, EP BIG MAMA. In a statement shared with ENVERT, Flying Lotus described the 7-track EP as “experimental, maximalist, hyperfast, electronic burst of energy.”
He continued: “I wanted it to feel like being shot out of a cannon, just explosive, unpredictable energy. Like a fuckin’ computer gone awry. Like a machine that had just lost its mind.”

Supporting Tour
