After weeks of teasing new music across her social media platforms, R&B singer and songwriter Felicia Temple has released the lead single off of her forthcoming album, Bedroom Chronicles II. Co-written by Isaiah Jones and produced by Omar The Great, “Bomb Love” is the ultimate confidence-boosting up-tempo track detailing just how superior the loving the New Jersey native is receiving.
While there’s no doubt The Voice alumni can write a love song for today’s audience with lyrics such as “you got that bomb love / Blue Magic dope I can’t get enough of / cocaine pure white / blow my mind love / it don’t matter I don’t mind getting hooked on you,” Temple is stepping out of her typical production style by incorporating fun Hip-Hop elements which have served her peers Tamar Braxton and Sevyn Streeter well in past releases.
“Bomb Love” showcases a whole new side of the singer which will certainly help her widen her fan base. Ballads from Temple are great, however, it is refreshing to experience this fun side of the singer. If this is any indication of what to expect from the album, I’m sold.
