Ela Minus’ long-awaited follow-up to her 2020 debut acts of rebellion is nearly here. After five years, the “megapunk” singer, songwriter, and producer has crafted an equally profound sonic vision.
With the singles “Broken,” “QQQQ,” “Upwards,” and “Combat,” serving as a musical testament, Ela Minus’ forthcoming sophomore album DÍA will reveal another creative side of the entertainer.
In a statement, Ela discussed the inspiration behind the album, saying: “DÍA is a record about becoming, from a process that entailed self-discovery at a deliberate pace to songs that seem to collectively ask where we go from here, long after we’ve been broken but long before we intend to be broken forever.”
