West Palm Beach-based R&B singer Marlounsly (pronounced Mar-loon-slee) rocked the internet wave after going viral with her latest single, “Dreamboat”. The Haitian songwriter effortlessly blends the sassy lyrics of today’s tops act along with the melodic cadence of the past all on one track.

I had a chance to chat with Marlounsly, “Dreamboat was a summer smash and one of my favorite records. It was inspired by a trip to Los Angeles I took in June, hence my lyric, ‘You changed my whole life in the month of June’. I was there having a dope time, and while I was walking I took notice of the amount of young love I saw just happy.”
Later adding, “I decided to tell a story about that while linking it to somethings I considered being a dreamboat. Some that’s handsome/ beautiful of course, and got their sh*t together! The ultimate package of course.”
