Detroit native Denmark Vessey announces a new project will be coming to your favorite e-music store on April 20. The Mello Music Group rapper reveals the new record, Sun Go Nova, will be releases as one album with two volumes.
The first volumn will be a new EP produced by Earl Sweatshirt & label mate Knxwledge while the second volumn will be a new beat tape produced by Denmark.
When asked about the project Vessey said, “For lack of a better word, it’s alternative and left-field,” adding, “it’s not light substance-wise, but light in that I want people to think of it as a treat, a little instance of coolness, a flash in the moment but not to be forgotten.”
The 14 track project also features ADAD, DrxQuinnx, and Vic Spencer making special guest appearance. Take a listen to lead single and title track, “Sun Go Nova” produced by Knxwledge below.
