New York City-based rocker Blu DeTiger continues to make a name for herself in the music world. From opening for artists such as The Knocks and Fletcher to increasing popularity on TikTok with her song “Figure it Out”, Blu keeps the fire hot with another candy-sweet single.
Blu’s latest track “Cotton Candy Lemonade”, produced by Blu Detiger herself, Jeanaux, and Stelios Phili, has DeTiger’s vocals crooning over a smooth baseline singing about running away from home and getting lost with her love.
Writing in quarantine, DeTiger envisions an escape from it all. The gentle sonic nature of the track encourages listeners to get lost with her. As Blu sings, “I wanna get lost with you; Picture waking up somewhere new,” listeners imagine a world away from the one they’re in, one full of cotton candy skies and fountains full of lemonade.
