Following the release of a string of contagious singles from “Sleepwalking” as well as “Awake” featuring Mahalia in March, and “Gone” in April, Montreal-based recording artist, Chiiild is making his mark in R&B music and shows no signs of slowing down. His newest single “Eventually” continues to showcase the artist’s irresistible talent.
Preluding his forthcoming album Hope For Sale (via Avant Garden), the track’s joyous arrangement accompanies lyrics about the singer’s allure. The song begins in response to a romantic discord. The lyrics explore the lopsidedness of being entangled with a confused partner in which one party where their partner will want them again.
The track merges electronic pop with a funky hypnotic bass that elicits the urge to move, along with an ample amount of reverb. Cleverly, each verse is imbued with heavily processed vocals which are resolved for the chorus and transition into an impressive, angelic falsetto on the part of Chiiild.
