Back in 2024, Channel Tres released Head Rush, his highly anticipated major label debut studio album. Two years removed from the breakthrough project, the “Only One” musician is taking creative and business matters into his own hands.
This week, Channel Tres will follow up Head Rush with his sophomore studio album, Enigma POV, through Alta Music Group. Five record drops in (“Only One,” “Medicine,” “Pop Pop,” “Creatine,” and “Black Techno Guy”), and Enigma POV is his most ambitious project to date.
In a post shared on Instagram, Channel Tres discussed what inspired the forthcoming album.
“I started making this album in Topanga Canyon,” wrote Tres. “I took a trip there to mourn. One night I watched ‘The Wiz’ again, and this time I broke down in tears.”
He continued, “I realized the characters had everything they were searching for all along and that the Wiz was just a man. That’s when shit really clicked for me. Everything I needed to be an artist was already within me. Once I embraced where I was instead of chasing what I thought I lacked, the songs started to flow. ‘Enigma POV’ was born.”

Supporting Tour
Channel Tres will launch his The Enigma Tour on August 28, 2026. Along the 20-date trek, he will be joined on the road by Yamagucci, Zainab, Eliza Rose, Kilimanjaro, and Fifi.
