Cautious Clay Announces ‘The Hours: High Noon,’ Final Album In His ‘Hours’ Trilogy

In numerology, three signals a divine wholeness. In music, that same remains true. Producer, multi-instrumentalist, and singer-songwriter Cautious Clay is leaning into this spiritual essence.

Since last May, the “Tokyo Lift (5am)” musician has challenged himself to seamlessly blend his creative self, releasing it in his acclaimed trilogy project. In July, Clay will conclude that professional mission with his forthcoming body of work, The Hours: High Noon.

Clay, in a statement shared with ENVERT, chatted about the trilogy (May 2025’s The Hours: Morning and October 2025’s The Hours: Night) and what supporters can expect from The Hours: High Noon.

“‘The Hours: High Noon’ is a conclusion to the Hours album saga,” Cautious revealed. “It feels like a middle ground between morning and night, sonically. I wanted to branch into reggae and some downtempo stuff with this album, which felt really refreshing for me to explore.”

As a sample of what’s to come, Clay shared the project’s lead single, “Green Screen (1pm).” Watch Cautious Clay’s official video for the lead The Hours: High Noon single “Green Screen (1PM)” below.
