At ENVERT our mission is to provide unbiased media coverage of the independent entertainment community by way of in-depth interviews, music video spotlights, album reviews as well as other relevant news stories. Yes, this is a rather ambitious goal but we believe it is indeed possible. As we grow as a platform so does our administrative team!
We are not here at this time but in the coming year, we hope to raise enough capital to hire a few full-time staff writers. In the interim, we will begin accepting pitches from freelance journalists looking to shop their relevant stories to us.

In-House Videographer & Video Editor
Are you obsessed with visual storytelling? We are looking to transform how the world discovers and promotes indie news with several video series featuring indie creatives, social media news shows, and more. We’re looking for a part-time in-house and video editor to join our editorial team. The primary role of this position is to record as well as our long-format video series. This role will require self-sufficiency, strong communication skills, and timeline management to assure our video content continues to grow in quality and relevance.
Responsibilities:
- Record video interviews and relevant b-roll footage
- Ability to edit short-form, long-form, and social content
- Contributing to creative team brainstorms and content goals
- Assist with edit strategy
Pay Rate: $20 per hour – $25 per hour

Interning with ENVERT
Are you looking to gain experience in entertainment writing? We are proud to offer seasonal (fall, spring, and summer) unpaid internships! Our internships are not only limited to college students seeking academic credit. Internships with ENVERT run for 8-weeks and only require a minimum time commitment of 2 hours per week. During your time with ENVERT, you will learn how to secure prominent interviews and how to source story ideas, all while sharping your writing skills. Interns are required to submit a minimum of 2 – 3 posts per week. All internships with ENVERT are remote. Please note, depending on the geographic location of an applicant, age restrictions may be enforced.

Music Blogger Intern
Music blogger interns are responsible for covering the independent music scene. While we do encourage the interns to pitch their own story ideas, a list of available stories will be available each week via our editorial board.
Responsibilities:
– Create blog posts about independent recording artists’ tour announcements, concert reviews, album reviews, and music news updates.
– Conduct interviews with independent recording artists.
– Produce original stories in the realm of independent music.
