Jazz’s resurgence has been a sight to see. But, Blvck Spvde And The Cosmos promises you’ve never heard any acts quite like them. In October, the ensemble (comprised of guitarist Joey Ferber, vocalist Precious Brown, keyboardist Kudda, drummers Dhoruba Shakur and Dorian Simms, percussionist Hodge, saxophonist Vintvge Vibes, trumpeter Josiah Burton, and arranger/keyboardist Antonio Brown) plans on backing up their claims by way of their debut album.
After sharing news of their signing to the record label Mello Music Group, Blvck Spvde And The Cosmos quickly announced their music plans. On October 18, their album Overjoyed Through The Noise will be available everywhere music is streamed. But the forthcoming body of work’s lead single, “Doom,” which pays homage to the late MF DOOM, is out now.
