Through her music, Ottawa-born singer / songwriter Jamie Fine strives to inspire her audience to explore the range of emotions we all feel, but often cannot express - from anger and isolation - to joy and human connection. Jamie’s ability to capture and share intense emotion with her broad audience is her super power. For Jamie, writing music is a private and personal act: “I write music for me – it’s cathartic. It helps me sort out what I have experienced.” When asked how releasing music feels, Jamie explains: “The safest place in the world for me is in my head. Releasing music feels like I am opening up my safe space for everyone to see. Even though that can feel very scary, my goal is to create a safe place for others to experience and explore their own emotions.” As she continues to expand her audience worldwide with every new release, Jamie strives to create room for everybody through her music.
