Two long years have passed since Joy Oladokun‘s beloved album, Observations From A Crowded Room.
Within that time span, the acclaimed folk singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist has lived a lot of life. From fierce mental health struggles to a nasty battle with her former label, the “Nothing Comes Easy” musician is ready to purge it all in this new chapter.
On their highly anticipated studio project, Hope Is A Heavy Thing, fans will explore it all and more across its 12 tracks.
Due to its deeply personal nature, the forthcoming body of work was produced primarily by Oladokun. Thanks to liner notes provided by the label, supporters will also listen to creative contributions from Nigerian producer Spellz and artist Adekunle Gold.

Supporting Tour
Shortly after the release of Hope Is A Heavy Thing, Joy Oladokun will hit the road in support of the album.
On October 5, the 21-date run will launch in Dallas at the 2026 State Fair of Texas. Along the tour, Oladokun will be joined by special guests Madeline Edwards, Nat Myers, and Houston Kendrick. Continue below to view the official tour poster and complete schedule.
