As the age old saying goes life tends to imitate art. For director and documentarian Lance Oppenheim, his latest feature film, Primetime, takes its inspiration from television.

Based on the groundbreaking Dateline NBC segment, To Catch a Predator, hosted by Chris Hansen, Primetime teleports viewers back to To Catch a Predator‘s 2006 peak.

Starring Robert Pattinson as Chris Hansen, the film documents the conumdrum between “making good television” and protecting children from potential online predators.

Where is the line when combatting deeply immoral acts? Can justice go too far? These are just a few of the difficult question Primetime poses to audiences.

Primetime is written by Ajon Singh and based on an article by Luke Dittrich.
