Bound to no single sound while exploring many, Jane Remover makes hyperpop that can be frenetic and damaged or beautifully lush depending on their mood. After producing an array of releases in multiple styles and under many different aliases, the vocalist/producer/songwriter broke through to a new level of acclaim with their 2021 debut full-length, Frailty. Remover returned in 2023 with the more sophisticated, dusty shoegaze sounds of sophomore album Census Designated. Revengeseekerz, a return to the artist's earlier digicore sound, appeared in 2025, along with the EP ♡.
Jane Remover was born and raised in New Jersey, developing an interest in music creation as early as age eight. After experimenting with dubstep, EDM, SoundCloud rap, and other styles under various aliases, they settled on the moniker Dltzk for their increasingly rambunctious hyperpop productions, and released the EP Teen Week under this banner in February 2021. Their first album, Frailty, followed several months later, and both that record and preceding EP were met with critical praise. In June 2022, Remover announced they would be retiring the name Dltzk. Previous works issued under that name were rebranded as Jane Remover releases, and they reworked Teen Week into a new form that took out some songs they'd grown uncomfortable with. In 2023, their second full-length, Census Designated, arrived, this time delving into nostalgic bedroom pop and vocoded singing performances with undertones of dream pop and shoegaze. After a final release under their "Dariacore" mash-up alias Leroy and a more indie rock-focused full-length as Venturing, Remover released Revengeseekerz, a dense collision of hyperpop, industrial hip-hop, and dance music, in April 2025. The EP ♡, containing material recorded the previous year, rounded out 2025. - Biography by TiVo Staff
