Nate Amos, or so he is now professionally known, This Is Lorelei, is one of the most popular acts out there. From big-name co-signs (Hayley Williams) to having his tunes covered by other beloved musicians (MJ Lenderman and Cameron Winter), fans are eager to hear This Is Lorelei’s forthcoming studio album, The Singer In My Band.
Fresh off the success of Water From Your Eyes‘ revered project, It’s A Beautiful Place, This Is Lorelei had big shoes to fill. However, based on the album’s lead singles, “Oh No Now My,” “Billy Came Back,” and “The Kid With The Crown,” he was up for the challenge.
In a statement shared with BrooklynVegan, This Is Lorelei reflected on crafting the body of work while on the road.
“It really is like a collection of chaotic experiences that you have while travelling. They’re also very much little works of fiction with elements of truth to them,” said This Is Lorelei.
