In his newly found musical independence via his own record label Giran Republic, Mr. Money is investing in himself. Yesterday (May 26), Asake took to his official Instagram page to announce his highly anticipated tour across North America.
Following a two-year hiatus, last month Asake released his independently released album, M$ney. As the chart-topping project continues to rise in popularity, Asake is ready to share it with fans live in concert.
Beginning on August 20, Asake will kick off his In God We Trust Tour in Chicago, Illinois, at the Credit Union 1 Arena. Along the 10-date run, Asake will make stops in Toronto, Brooklyn, Atlanta, Miami, Houston, Los Angeles, and more with special guest Uncle Waffles.
In a statement shared with Variety, Asake and Uncle Waffles discuss the forthcoming tour.
“This tour will bring the themes of ‘M$ney’ to life,” Asake exclaimed. “It’s a reflection of everything the album represents, from gratitude to growth. I look forward to taking this experience across the globe.”
Uncle Waffles followed Asake’s remarks, expressing her excitement to collaborate in this way with her fellow African musician.
“There’s a mutual respect between me and Asake because we both understand what it takes to bring our sounds to international stages,” Uncle Waffles remarked.
The artist presale for Asake’s 2026 In God We Trust Tour began today (May 27) at 10 a.m. local time. While the general sale is scheduled to begin on Friday, May 29, at 10 a.m. local time.
