Lainey Wilson’s forever ever after is quickly approaching after announcing her engagement to Devlin Hodges. But “4x4xU” singer wants to ensure that those who’ve had to walk away from potential nuptials also feel empowered.
During the 2025 CMA Awards, Wilson briefly stepped away from hosting duties to perform her sock it to ’em single “Ring Finger.”
Dressed in a metallic silver two-piece ensemble with fringe-lined arm cuffs, Wilson shone under the bright stage lights, and she wasn’t alone. With an army of women background dancers, they stomp along to Wilson’s commanding delivery of the lover-done-wrong anthem.
“So this here song’s for all the girls / Who had the balls to walk away from Earl / Bigger nuts than a redneck squirrel / Let me hear it if you know what I mean / Ya lost your man, but ya took the bling bling / I got the ring,” sings Wilson.
As the crowd grooved along, no one was more supportive than Wilson’s fiancé Devlin. When the camera panned through the Bridgestone Arena, he could be seen on his feet singing every word.
