The Favors’ Gleaming Performance Of ‘Lake George’ On COLORS Examines Love And Death’s Intersection

Back in 2021, Ashe and FINNEAS came together for the track “Till Forever Falls Apart.” What started as a one-off collaboration for Ashe’s debut studio album, Ashlyn, has given birth to a mighty musical force.

Fast-forward four years, and the singer-songwriters, alongside fellow musicians, drummer David Marinelli and guitarist Ricky Gourmet, have joined creative forces as supergroup The Favors.

With the collective’s debut studio album, The Dream, out now on all platforms, lead vocalists Ashe and FINNEAS dropped by COLORS for a dazzling in-studio performance.

Of the 12 songs featured on the captivating body of work, the pair picked their spellbinding ballad “Lake George.”

“This was both of our very first COLORS performances,” wrote FINNEAS on Facebook. “And it couldn’t be more special to us. “Lake George” hits harder here in its rawest form.”

Although “Lake George” is a gut-wrenching tale of love and death, FINNEAS and Ashe’s vocals could not have been filled with more life. The gleaming duet filled the dreamy blue soundstage with romance, trust, and devotion.
