Pop newcomer Adeline Um makes falling in love sound so effortless! The Boston-based singer’s debut track, “Simple To Do”, reminiscent of early Christina Perri and Norah Jones, walks listeners through on her own personal journey with love. While the softly delivered vocals delicately tuck you into the idea that love is possible, the bold stroke of piano serves as a metaphor that it will only be experienced by those confident enough to seek it.

The songwriter took to her official Facebook fan page to share the story behind the track writing, “[Simple to Do], the first single off of my EP album ‘Still Blooming’ is a song that I wrote about Myles the day that we started dating. I told myself that day that I was going to marry him. I also want to use this space and platform to acknowledge the black lives matter movement.”

Adding, “I cannot imagine the pain of the Black community as they have faced and continue to face police brutality, systemic racial injustice, and de jure discrimination. My heart is hurting with you, and I’m committed to continue working toward co-conspiracy and allyship. I hope you’re all safe and healthy, sending good vibes your way ✨🌸.”
