Sampha, Jorja Smith, And Cherry Win Big At The 2024 AIM Awards In London

On October 17, AIM held its 14th annual namesake awards at London’s Roundhouse. Of the night’s most coveted categories, Jorja Smith, Sampha, Barry Can’t Swim and OneDa took home impressive wins.

Songstress Jorja Smith walked away with an Independent Album Award for her album Falling or Flying. While Sampha snatched the trophies for Best Independent Track (“Spirit 2.0”) and Best Independent Video (“Only”), which made him the biggest winner of the night.

Other notable victories include Barry Can’t Swim securing UK Independent Breakthrough and One To Watch going to OneDa.
